The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to locate your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is integrated into the base of charging. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and recommend automatic schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the push of one button. You can choose the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot says it will get better with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's only downside is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a problem if you want to own one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones create little noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move away if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the hidden bin and also cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something is in need of attention, such as the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was more info among the top performers in my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors, and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
